About Me

LIVING ABROAD
My parents met at Indiana University and moved to Europe to work as classical musicians. I was born in Germany and lived there and in Austria until 1996. In this environment I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by people of various ethnicities and cultures. My graduate level training in diversity and multiculturalism only reinforced my desire to work with people of all different backgrounds.

WORK EXPERIENCE
After receiving training at the institutions listed below, I was the Senior Staff Psychologist at Hazelden Springbrook inpatient addiction treatment facility. While my training specialized in the treatment of eating disorders and addictions, I also have a strong background in treating depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, the challenges of parenting and coping with other major life transitions. In addition to providing individual psychotherapy, I also enjoy working with couples.
